Second typography poster re-design
This is the re-design for my second poster, i took away the illustrations and replaced them with a couple of drips to add to this dissappearing image, an image that is constantly fading away and needs to be rebuilt.

Holiday typography project
The design brief was to create a typographic poster of a Bob Dylan lyric using "Colours are always Beautiful" by Javier Mariscal as an influence. Now colours dont tend to be my strong point due to a colour deficiency but i still manage, somehow! I started by using photoshop to help with the layout but i just wasn't feeling it so resorted to the good old sketchbook! My lyric was "Them chacoal gypsy maidens can strut their feathers well" from Blind Willie Mctell, after researching the song and looking at an essay about the song, the outcome was the above. Sorry the top of the image has been cut off but i will get another picture soon.

Self-portrait project
After a long think about who my idols are i finally settled on Lars Frederiksen, singer and guitarist for both Rancid and Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards. I have grown up listening to his music and he has inspired me to play music and also inspired me in the way i think. In my self portrait i took the strong contrast from the album artwork and recreated it using illustrator.
